As a registered Clinical Psychologist at Life Psychology Group, Dr Vicki Dallinger works with various therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy (CCPT), and Reality Therapy to help you to achieve your therapy goals. In her practice, she brings together a solution-focused approach with empathy and compassion to guide and support you during the therapeutic process.
Whether you are experiencing a significant life change, loss, or adjustment or have relationship issues or difficulties with others in your life, Vicki can offer services to guide you towards reaching a better place. As a Clinical Psychologist, Vicki is able to support you with any mental health diagnosis and overcoming challenges that can sometimes result from symptoms.
Vicki also offers clinical supervision to provisional and generally registered psychologists. Her approach integrates evidence-based frameworks with practical, real-world application, ensuring you feel supported in translating theory into meaningful clinical outcomes.

Clinical Psychologist and Director
Dr Vicki Dallinger is a Clinical Psychologist, researcher, and lecturer for the University of Southern Queensland. She has worked in community mental health and private practice for a number of years. Vicki’s research and clinical practice focuses on recovery and resilience building for youth and adults in both community and private settings. Her latest research includes the development of a youth recovery measure and the exploration of trauma informed practice within schools supporting young people recovering from trauma.

Medication is one part of a range of resources you can use to support you with your mental and emotional problems. Therapy is sometimes needed to guide you to find the source of your distress and behaviour patterns. Medication and therapy are often used together to support people achieve their desired goals. Check with your medical doctor/GP to see what the best treatment for you is.

Confidentiality is a key component of therapy. What you discuss in a session will not be shared with anyone else. By law, your therapist cannot release this information without your written consent, except in the following situations as outlined by the Australian Psychological Society Ethical guidelines on confidentiality:
where there is a legal obligation to do so;
if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to an identifiable person or persons that can be averted only by disclosing information; or
when consulting colleagues, or in the course of supervision or professional training.
